Quiet accommodation

Jeju Myung House is located in the countryside, it is thus quiet, but makes it essential to have a car to explore the island. The owner is very friendly and funny!

The bed was a bit too hard for us, and the fridge and microwave could have been cleaner.

Friendly and cozy accommodation

It was a really pleasant stay! The apartment was clean and cozy. Also the host of the house was a nice person and very friendly! The house is located at the countryside and it’s quiet around there. We totally enjoyed it there and would recommend it!

Lovely place to stay in Seogwipo. The owner is a wonderful host, he gave us such a warm welcome and a full basket of Jeju tangerines, wow! We told him that we planned to hike Hallasan, so we needed a taxi to drive us to the hiking trail so early in the morning, then he called and booked the taxi right away. We hiked Hallasan succesfully without any obstacles. We stayed for 2 nights, it felt so fast like in a blink of an eye, hoped we could stay longer and explore Seogwipo area more.

Nice and cosy place to stay.

The kitchen facilities provided makes you feel like home. The host is very friendly. We kind of late to arrive on that day and it was already dark. We could not find the place even though the waze already stated we had already arrived. We were then email to the property for help since we cannot make a call. Instantly, the host popped-out of the house and wait for us at the sidewalk of the property right after he received the email. He even gave us a basket of oranges to taste. Such a nice man.

Small towel provided. We hope the host could provide the bigger towel for the guests to shower.

Comfortable stay

The room we got was more than spacious. There were two separate bedrooms with two queen beds and a single bed. There was also a kitchenette. The room was clean and everything was neatly organised. The owner was especially friendly. Despite the language barrier, he tried his best to accommodate us. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable and clean

The host Mr. Min and his wife were very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The cooking facilities are very complete. Though we only cooked ramen, we had the full complete kitchen utensils to eat our ramen and fruits. It has a nice compound with a swing that is very relaxing to spend your early morning We rented a car so it was easy to find following the GPS set in the car. Otherwise it might be difficult to get to unless you get a taxi.

Exceptional

The location of the property was more rural but my party and I really enjoyed the natural aspect of that. The host was very accommodating and friendly, he made sure we had a comfortable stay and had everything we needed. The host waits for your arrival to give a personal tour of the place so just be aware of that. I was able to speak Korean so communication wasn't a problem but the host makes all effort to make sure everything is properly communicated so don't worry if you can't speak Korean. My stay wasn't long and we only went back to the property to sleep so there isn't too much to talk about but I can say the place was very clean and orderly. It's located on the second floor so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs but that wasn't a problem for us because we had small luggages. We were a total of 4 so we used 2 of the 3 rooms available. One room has one bed and it's own bathroom. And the other room has two beds and it's own bathroom. I had a great time, it's a great value, and I would recommend the place to those who have a car!

The roads to get to the property are pretty dark at night so be careful, but it's really easy to find when you follow the GPS.
